stupid question most probably (dont laugh at me) but do you Have to go to the docs to get the pill? i work mon to fri, cant get time off and have a major fear of the docs (in fact i only went when i registered there). i saw you can buy it online but its expensive. can ya like just phone them or summat?

Its free for both the pill and condoms.
Do you have to pay for the pill on prescription? I would ask my girlfriend, but she's sleeping, and we get it for from the Sandyford where as I said, Its free.

naa you dont have to pay for it. i dont stay through there i stay in fife, but going to the family planning is just like the docs. scary medical sounding people :-( i cant even get valium before going hee hee

Most doctors surgeries have at least one night where they open late.
Alot of other women do actually work full time as well.

if you go to the doc it is free. you do not have to pay for contraception. i don't pay for my pill.

as for the can't get time off work thing - it's a doctors appointment, so they should be lenient, surely?
the pill is free on prescription from the NHS, but as said previously you have to see a doctor and get checked out beforehand. I have to have a checkup every few months (when I need a repeat prescription anyway) which is a hassle but I my pill. | |
