| Re: Excema i was gonna say dream cream as well. i dont have severe eczema anymore, i used to get it quite bad when i was a kid. i my skin doesnt crack or anything when i get a bout, it just gets very tight and itchy, but the dream cream usually sorts that out fairly swiftly.
i'd make sure your washing powder is ok, it's usually certain brands that bring out my eczema |

| Re: Excema Used to have it quite bad on my arms and legs when I was younger but now it's just my right hand thats a bit scabby. Tried all sorts of creams over the years, nothing has ever got rid of it completely but at the moment I am using 'Elocon Cream' which is a steroid cream prescribed by the doc. It helps.. but again, doesn't solve the problem completely.

| Re: Excema I have an allergy which is called utercaria (Ur-ter-care-e-a). Brings me out in extreme cold/heat and if I eat strange foods. One school trip to the country, eat some editable leaves *BAM* covered in itchy blotches.
But thats the only skin condition i've ever had until about a year ago when this started happening. Getting unbearable now. As most of you may notice I wear my glasses almost everyday now
I'll try dream cream from lush to see if its any good then back to the doctor if that doesnt help. I'm trying to avoid steriod creams like the plague.

| Re: Excema i have horrific eczema. always have had since i was a baby. I have every steroid cream you can think of. And some pills too. you get special bubble bath stuff from the doc which calms it down a bit. Always make sure that you mosturise after you have had a shower or bath. Also cut down on the amount of dairy products you consume as they can agrivate it more. Worked a treat for me. To top that off i also have a nickle allergy which makes me come out in even more of a rash.
If you get steroid creams don't over use them as they thin the skin.

My skin has decided over the last week to render me akin to a leper I have the Vet Ball this Saturday and it's my last one EVER so I want to look like the hot little minx i know I am somewhere...but with skin like herpes - what do I do? Eumovate cream is having little -no effect and neither is Oliatum Does Dream Cream actually work? Any other mega hints for mouldy skin? |
