| Damn strange leg pain...
Ok, this one is bizarre.
Sunday 19th January 1997 at 4.30pm, I broke my leg in 3 places just above the ankle whilst jumping into a very small gap between 2 haybales at the farm then belonging to my stepdad (as described in the what stupid things have you done thread). In time it healed, yadda yadda yadda
However, now, every few mohths, for a couple of minutes, I feel the same pain in the same place as when I broke my leg. Last happened to me in February I think, happened again this morning whilst sleeping in bed. I eased awake (I didnt intend to, and didnt actually get up for another couple of hours, this being 9.15) and suddenly felt my leg (left, as that was the broken one) stiffen and become incredibly painful near the base where I had broken it. It lasted a minute or two and was agony, as if I had broken it again. Well, not quite that bad but close to it. Certainly my leg was stiff enough that I felt that bending it would snap it off at the knee. Same thing happens every few months without rhyme nor reason. Anyone got any explanation at all for this?

Arthiritis maybe, mind you if you only broke it this year then I can understand why you still get bouts of pain from it.

Yeah, I think it's bad cramp addy - I get pain like that in my leg too sometimes if I stretch out suddenly in bed and I've never broken my leg.
EDIT: Btw next time you get it try squeeze your top lip! It sounds mental but it actually works - it's some mad acupressure thing. Someone told me to do it and I didn't believe them but when I did try it it worked.  | |

Could it be cramp? I get cramp every few months behind my knee, and sometimes in the base of my feet and it doesnt really seize up my joints or anything As far as i remember! Usually only happens after i stretch or something... Suppose it really depends on what muscle is cramping.
PS. Cramp f*cking sucks.
