| Bad Throat
I've managed to shake off every other part of this bug bar this awful throat. I do realise that it wont shift till its ready too but I wondered if any of you kind folk might know some things to help alleviate the symptoms?

Manuka honey - you can get it in Holland and Barrett. Smear it on some toast or use it instead of sugar in your tea, and it should help shift your sore throat.
Also, green tea will boost you because it's full of antioxidants - get some of that down you, preferably with a bit of lemon and honey in it too. Tesco do Tetley's Green tea with lemon, and it's less than a quid for the tub of 25 tea bags. | |

Gargle soluble aspirin if you are able to take it. I get tonsilitis all the time since I was really young - as do all the females on my mum's side of the family. There is very little that can help and I gave up on antibiotics a long time ago as they had no effect. Gargling aspirin helps relieve the symptoms though.
Drink lots of water too - warm with lemon is good.

Lemsip got rid of my ability not to breathe through my nose, but it just replaced it with a more booger-Y version.
