| Re: breast screening my mum said the actual mamogram itself can be quite uncomfortable and you're a bit sore after it. Waiting timewise she said it wasn't bad. She was in at Nelson Mandela Place for hers. |

| Re: breast screening Yeah, that's where the new breatscreening place is.
I work next to a couple of women who used to work there. It's pretty efficient, don't think you need to wait about at all.

| Re: breast screening Try having a biopsy done.
Then you'll realise the mammogram is a total sinch.

I hope it doesn't come to that.

| Re: breast screening i know it's probably not much help at all, but try not to worry!
I had a biopsy taken from my cervix last week and I was absolutely worried out of my skull for about a fortnight before it and it was completely fine.
They tend not to keep you waiting too long my mum said and everyone's really nice and stuff about it. I know it's hard not to worry. But look at it as surely it's better to know if there's anything wrong. That's what I told myself anyway. I'd save my worrying for if there was. |

I hope it doesn't come to that. | Hell, if it puts you mind at ease then you have to. Common sense really.
Just wish they'd invent a uninvasive scan for cancer cells detection.
