| Re: Heal me So basically you went out with the young 'uns and hurt your back?
A hot bath would probably help. And a hot water bottle.

| Re: Heal me deep heat will help the ache, i doubt its power to aid the pain shooting down my arm constantly or the crippling spasms hen i stretch or lift anything up.
I could barely pick up a cup of fanta at woolies house the other night
Painkillers do fuck all for me as well, cept te rhino strength ones my mother has for her back, and even then im not sure they dull the pain so much as leave me too doped up to muster the effort to whine. |

| Re: Heal me When you injure a muscle (like straining it badly) it can become inflamed and affect the nerve around it. Unfortunately there's little you can do other than just resting the muscle (but continue to stretch it out to keep it from seizing up) and taking anti-inflammatories (eg. ibuprofen) and applying a topical muscle rub. Go to the doc if it doesn't start getting better in about a week or so. |

| Re: Heal me Im not planning on going to work till i can actually move properly again, so the resting shouln't be too much of a problem.

Hmm sounds like a trapped nerve or something, you'd be best to hit the docs for some advice though.

#15 | | Guest | Re: Heal me Brian, if you go to the gym at Caley uni (The Ark), they have deep muscle massage therapists there and I think it's £12 for a 20 minute massage - give them a phone and check. I fucked my back on a trampoline and the massage really made a difference. | |
