| Re: The Flu Aye.
What are you taking for it?
The best thing Ive found, in all honesty, is to sleep as much as you can. Hard when youre at uni though, granted.

I'm just taking paracetamol or Lemsip Max.
Getting to sleep is a bastard too, my whole body aches and when I do get to sleep I wake up with cold sweats....Or a sore throat....Or regular sweats....Or the need to chunder.
Rubbish

| Re: The Flu Hmmm...are you drinking loads of fluids?
Also, see if youre feeling shite but youve taken loads of paracetamol already, try ribena/any form of diluting juice hot with some honey, seems to help and its a nice wee comfort.
As for sleep, my boyfriend takes those naturasleep things when hes ill (He gets it a lot, lack of fruit and veg, but he wont listen to me) and they seem to knock him out. Not sure how youd feel about herbal sleepy things though.

Yes, it's the flu.
My joints and muscles ache, fever, sore throat, cough, sore head...lots and lots of stuff.

| Re: The Flu I've been coughing up lots of horrible stuff for the past month, but I'm refusing to let it develop into real illness. Mind you, nor am I doing much about it: TCP's just too rank.
Get well soon, btw. |
