| Tommorow.... ok quite basically with the smoking ban now in force, and the fact that my new job means i cant leave the building which i work, i have deceided that.. as of tommorow i am goin to quit smoking.
i already smoke less than i did, a month ago when i started the job, going from 20 a day to around about ten, and have dedcided that, now is as good a time as any.
i have tried to quit several times before, with varying results, the first time i attempted it i managed 3 days, the last time several months.
i have used nicotine replacement therapy (ie patches) but had to stop using them due to fact that i found i was allergic to them, (apparently im allergic to somehing in the sticky bit, which caused my armpits to came in a horryfying rash, which smelled horrible).
i deceided to put this thread up as a means for me to write down. how its going etc, i know i could use my journal but i deceided against it for personal reasons so please dont tell me to put it into my journal.
also... i dont want this to turn into another argument about smoking there is several threads on the subject one being http://www.altnation.com/forums/gene...oking+argument
there. if u want to argue about it please go there....
thank you
wish me luck

| Re: Tommorow.... day one
actually didnt go to bad, all things considered, wwhenever i did need a ciggarette i did a bit of math calculating stuff that is pointless but good to know stuff,
ie, over the next three dayys out of a possible 62 hours in these days, 24 will be taking up with work, and 24 acoording to medical advice should be taking up with sleep so i only really have 24 hours over the next three days so thats always good.
the hardest thing today was getting a whiff of someone who had just finished a cig as he got on the same bus as me sat down across from me and all i could smell was the tobacco, i have NEVER wanted a ciggarette more in my life
also tho its just mainly about changing your habits as well, whicg with an enforced smoking ban now in should be a tad bit easier to do so....
money in jar... 2.30.
first big test will be this weekend, as i am going to a concert then to a club afterwards, i am known to smoke like a trooper when im drunk sometimes goin through two 20 decks, so yeah
rock on
