I've wanted somethig for guys for a long time, for my own peace of mind if nothing else, though as i posted in the other thread, the only method I'm aware of involves an injection into both testicles, and here's thread I posted about it a while back.

I wouldn't leave oral contraception up to my partner. It's not the male who has to carry the damn thing about for 40wks...and 'oops, forgot to mention I forgot to take it' are accepted when I'm saying it (cos I would be doing the carrying)...

But a condom's not always convenient for quickies with your partner, and I've had them burst enough times to make sure she's on the pill or has another form of contraception.

Pre-testicular suppression of gonadotrophins is the most likely approach for reversible therapeutic fertility control in men....as a clinical application that is.. A recent interest in this area of research from pharmaceutical companies, is now making this a feasible and realistic approach.
