This could be due to an inflammatory response, or simply that your cells in the vagina are more permissible to this viral subtype infection. If you smoke, you're at an even higher risk...but hey, feel free to be dislike my tone, altho' I wasn't aware I was projecting one...maybe you should ask someone what they mean before getting defensive...especially if they are only offering friendly advice

| Re: Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections It was a generalisation, the you wasnt aimed at you specifically, the tinernet has this problem of a lack of tone so yes, could have sounded a bit off, but as Hotblonde prolly knows nowt about you I wouldnt think anything more of it.
Where did STI's come from by the way? like, how do they emerge?

I maybe come accross a bit clinical sometimes.

| Re: Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections As soon as one becomes sexually active, she should get a pap smears every year, in my opinion.
Fuck NHS... in the US and Canada it's the norm to have it done yearly, regardless of your health history:
So go for it Girrrrrrrls !!!

| Re: Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections my man whore of an ex boyfriend gave me several rather nasty STD's. But because I trusted the bastard abd took "No i would never cheat" on faith I ended up with several STDS.
The worst bit was I didnt find out that I had any until started sleeping with current partner and he had to be rushed to A&E one night cause he was spiking a temperature and other stuff because I had made him ill
Thats when i found out, I felt so guilty that happened to hi, he didnt deserve it poor sod.
to recap: PLay safe kids. Use the lucky bags and get tested immediately if your think anything is amiss. |

| Re: Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections as im not in a "proper relationship" i still use condoms...and would never sleep with someone without one unless theyd been tested clear. i still get checked pretty regularly anyway, just in case. im a very paranoid person! i hate the experience though. same with smear tests...just bleh. my doctor had to remind me about 6 times before he got annoyed with me delaying it and made an appointment for me anyway. eek!

That's an awful experience though... quite a learning curve I bet.
