if its a single wheel and your in no rush you should be able to get one off ebay easily enough, or a scrappy?

ive tried scrappy's and i cant for love nor money get a 5 stud wheel, ebay also threw up no luck.
My cars off the road until i get a wheel as there are two need replacing and i grudge giving arnold shark £35 per wheel

Is there a VW dealer near you? though I suspect that'll cost more than AK would.

If you're looking at having to pay extra for tyres too have you considered just getting a new set of wheels/alloys from somewhere like halfrauds?

I refuse to believe that there aren't any in the scrappy. Is the five stud wheel found on any other VW/Audi/ Skoda models? Get big Craig goth boy in here, he'll know.
If you're totally stuck, give German Swedish and French a call. They're on Pollockshaws RD and are probably the biggest independant VW parts specialist in the city. They'll be cheaper than AC anyway.
Also, when you're searching on ebay don't search for a wheel on it's own. Search for a VW polo "breaking" or "for spares". Email and ask if they'll sell a wheel. | |

I'd always be seriously wary of buying wheels and tyres in a scrappy if you're not 100% sure what you're looking at. Accident damage isn't always visible to the casual eye. Second hand tyres are a major no no, wheels need careful scrutiny especially pressed steel ones. | |
