| Let's hear it for Jenson Button. Last season he said something along the lines of (paraphrasing here); "If we all had a car as good as Lewis', we'd all be doing much better."
When he was saying this, he wasn't taking anything away from Lewis, he was just saying that he's possibly not the breaks that Lewis had and he's still got a lot to offer.
But this season, he's in a competitive car and he appears to be doing it.
Although, without all the fanfare that Hamilton received.
As for Hamilton, he's not so keen to do interviews or talk to the media now that he's not doing so well.

| Re: Let's hear it for Jenson Button. I'm warming to Jenson Button. Like him a lot better than Hamilton. Just the way Button conducts himself and that.
Two poles in a row.

Two poles in a row. | Aye I couldn't agree more.
You get the feeling that this year is the 'REAL' F1.

| Re: Let's hear it for Jenson Button. Formula 1 is the most boring thing that humanity has ever collectively elected as a worthy spectacle.
Edit: Oh, there's the 1000m too. But that doesn't have many, serialised programmes devoted to it.

| Re: Let's hear it for Jenson Button. Usually pretty boring but occasionally you get immenseness like the first two minutes of the race today - fantastic overtaking, collisions, fisticuffs/handbags and fire. |

| Re: Let's hear it for Jenson Button. It shows how reliant you are on technology. Button did fuck all for 10 years, gets a decent car and now he's world champion.

I admit I'm not the biggest F1 fan but today's race was great.

it goes from 800m to 1500m surely?
F1 did get much much worse a few years ago; too much meddling with what was previously an exciting sport.

| Re: Let's hear it for Jenson Button. Today’s race was fucking outstanding. Well done to Button, but also to Webber, Kubica, Hamilton and Vettel. From the back of the grid to the front of the race, bloody amazing driving all round.
How about Crazy Kobayashi as well?
