| Potentially Selling My Car
Looking to sell my wee Corsa, it looks just like this except I have a CD player and a y-fronts air freshner hanging from my RVM
Its a 52 plate Corsa Club 1.2, manual. Its a petrol car too. It passed its mot this week no problem and it has 6 months tax as i've just renewed that too. Its a wee nippy thing, perfect for a first car as its insanely easy to drive and park. Its mileage is around 39000 and its really cheap to run. We've always had corsa's and never had any problem with them, this car is really reliable.
I've had it for three years and i THINK it only had one owner before me. I've got black and pink mats i'd even throw in if the car was for a girl.
I did an online valuation and it came in at around 2000 so i'd be looking for something around that price but im open to any offers.
I'm selling it because i quite fancy buying a Smart Roadster but obviously i've not bought it yet or even found one yet so i'd be looking to sell in the next few months. |

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car Smart Roadsters have come down loads in the past few years. You can get a basic one for five grand now, or a fully-specced Brabus version for £10K.

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car Aye? They’re still hovering around £9.5/10K on the Pistonheads classifieds.

My boyfriends brother has a roadster coupe and as soon as i saw it i thought it ws amazing - eco friendly too(though not that i care ALL that much about that, least it'll save me money on petrol).
The only thing im a wee bit worried about is how it would cope if i was in an accident, i mean is it just gonna crumple? |

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car Haha, nah yer fine.
I wont actually be buying one, I've just warmed to them..
Have you driven one before?
The gearbox can be a pain in the arse.
Driving it can be really jerky.

Driving it can be really jerky. | I'd echo that; a friend of mine had one and all I remember was complaints about how awful the gearbox is (but we are all car snobs so it may not actually be that bad). I'd certainly give one a good drive before selling your Corsa

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car Well I have the advantage of being able to ask brians brother about it. He's had his for about 6 months, drives it to edinburgh and back everyday and seems to love it. I'd def need a wee test drive first of course. |

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car There were some Smart Roadsters with a manual gearbox, but those are as rare as hen’s teeth.

| Re: Potentially Selling My Car I drive a smart fortwo at work and I fucking hated it at first. It's grown on me, but I wouldn't want to do long drives in it.
