buy WoW online?

just finished my 10 day trial and i wish to continue....i know i can get a copy on play for £17 but is there no way i can buy from blizzard and just get the reg key?

i wana play tonight, waiting till tuesday would be rubbish.

Umm...actually...wait a second...your 10 day trial, converts to a full code at the end does it not? Or does it not give you the option of continuing your billing cycle?

the only thing i can see when i log into my account is to enter a retail serial code to continue my sub.

i'm taking a look at that link just now though.

doesn't seem to have the direct update button anywhere it would seem, only

"Your World of Warcraft Trial ends in -1 day(s). If you wish to continue playing with this account after the trial period ends and to enjoy all features of World of Warcraft, such as reaching the highest character level, unlimited chat and mail access, and taking part in all the epic adventures the game has to offer, simply purchase a retail copy of World of Warcraft and enter the Authentication Key in the boxes below."

from here there is no mention of it

Fileplanet does Warcraft Direct-2-Drive, but I think it's just the US version.

Edit: Here. Unfortunatly not only is it just the US version, you can only get it in the US and Canada.

Remember you get the game disks, 30 days subscription and the manuel when you buy the retail version. Virgin have it for £24 if you can't wait for Play to deliver it. And oh, how it's worth it.

pah, got it now.

checked the game website.... £17.99 so poped into town on my lunch and got it...£25, 18quid was an online only offer.

just seems quite silly to me that they don't offer it in the UK.

if they were to charge £15 for it (undecutting just about everyone) and let you download it yourself they would save a wad of cash in printing costs AND wouldn't need to give retailers a cut... win win for blizzard surely?

Still playing my 10 day free trial so not 100% sucked in yet. I did however play it for over 6 hours yesterday...........
