Burning Crusade expansion delayed till 2007

Blizzard began the closed-beta phase of testing on World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade earlier this month. The January 2007 release window will allow extra time for current beta testers to participate in the final stages of development and continue providing valuable feedback.

Further information on specific worldwide release dates, pricing, and other details will be announced later.

Note the last line - international release dates coming soon, January for the yanks.

Actually i think its a good thing from what i have been hearing from the beta testers. Instances aint finished and no-one can level to 70 yet so none of the raids have been tested.

Gives me time to play about in MC and BWL a bit before it hits, dont it

Instance - where a group of players get a private area to go kill monsters
Raids - going to an instance with some friends
MC - an instance known as Molten Core, one of the two top instances currently in the game
BWL - an instance known as Black Wing Lair - the other of the two top instances currently in the game.

Advanced players tend to forget that not everyone has the lingo down...heh

That's one look at it as well, aye.

I tend to stay away from PvP so I think of the PvE definition of raid (which is also used on PvP servers) to describe going to an instance. ie, raiding BWL/MC for farming your items.

been a while since you played Zeb? its AQ and Naxxaramas which are the 2 top instances in the game

Perhaps blizzard have realised the error of thier ways and switched back the draenai to the horde and made the blood elves not gay.

At least this'll give me more time to squeeze some life out of the xp into gold at 60.
