Wrath of the Lich King Trailer

This beats the carp out of the Illidan trailer for the Burning Crusade.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/intro.xml

Narrated by Terenas Menethil (Arthas' father), it's a bit of a treat lorewise, and the lore was always what I loved about WoW, especially the Paladin lore.

Incidentally, I may be wrong about this, but I thought at the end of Frozen Throne, Arthas/The Lich King was fused with the Frozen Throne and couldn't actually move. The idea of him being in psychic contact with his legions while acting like a statue was kind of cool and gave him a lot of menace, while the new trailer makes him look too beatable and human.

Still not sure I'm going to bother with Wrath anyway, because I know it's just going to be more of the same old, same old with the instance grinds, lore being fucked over to make the game more accessible to casual players and no chance of me ever getting near the raids with all the good lore.

I've got a level 70 mage and couldn't tell you a think about the lore unfortunately. I loved WoW but unless you can commit 3-4 nights a week to the game then you're not really made to feel welcome at all.

I think that's the case for most WoW players (except for RPrs).
There are folks in my guild (when I was playing regularly) who I used to mention the lore to, and they seldom had a clue what I was on about.
There were even a couple of youngsters who had no idea Blizzard developed three Warcraft games before WoW.
