I did, so I stopped playing for a while. Eventually I got the urge to get back into the fray.
Levelling alts also helps when I feel like that too. | |

ive been paying a subscription for this game from september, and only on the xmas hols did i really start to play it - on Slyvannis as horde (who rule btw), but ive just started a hunter on darksorrow so i can take advantage of all ur high lvl help... aint that right richie 
now i am bloody addicted.... and the fuckin server is down.... and i had a half day as well.... bahh, i could hav made it to bloody lvl 20 by now. 
ps. iam now running a gold for drinks at teh catty scheme, go on u kno u want to help me out.

I took a 2 week break on a PvP server as I'd gotten an alt up to around 35ish....then they opened Alterac (I was near Alterac when I'd logged)
So I logged in, and kept getting repeatedly capped by griefers. I couldn't even hearth out and they were camping the nearest graveyard. (By camping I mean "hanging out for a shot at AV and getting some banter and pvp on)
After 2-3 nights of getting repeatedly slain for an hour a night, cancelled the account - might get back into it for the expansion. Might. | |

how long does an account stay active once the subscription runs out? like can i leave it for a month, re-subscribe and use my old account again? or is it wipes like 2 weeks after subscription ends?
i sold my first account with a 60 NE rogue, but have recently been given an account with 60 mage 60 hunter and 48 rogue for free, but im busy with uni and the account subscription expires soon, i want ta leave it for few months then get into it during easter hols.

It's kept forever - unlike other MMOs, they retain your character details forever, so don't worry about it.
