| [Download] Jim Bob (Ex Carter USM) - 13th Note Cafe 20.09.06 [Download] Thanks to Jim for letting me put this up online for you all. Jim Bob - 13th Note Cafe, 20th September 2006 - 80.2Mb
If anyone isn't familiar with rar files then they are just like zip files and can be opened by winrar or winace which are both freely available from those links.
I've cut out most of the talking from between songs, except where it carried on over a song, because you can't really hear what the audience are saying. Hope you all enjoy it. |

You got a copy uncut? Jims banter was amazing nonsense.

| Re: [Download] Jim Bob (Ex Carter USM) - 13th Note Cafe 20.09.06 [Download] I’m still blown away by the recording quality on this set. Everything fell into place, for once. One question though Gill: Where’s the recording of Yer Maw’s set from the same night? Hmm? |

| Re: [Download] Jim Bob (Ex Carter USM) - 13th Note Cafe 20.09.06 [Download] Its recorded from the monitor mix, so the vocals are 100 times louder than everything else. Gill said he needs to do some mixing work on it but I'm not sure if that just means he's in a bad mood that the recording didn't work and he wants everyone else to forget about it.
Gill?

| Re: [Download] Jim Bob (Ex Carter USM) - 13th Note Cafe 20.09.06 [Download] … And there’s me thinking there was an elaborate plan to burn it to CD and sell as a limited-edition bet-you-wish-you-were-there reunion boxed set with double gatefold and metallic inks. Just to finance the bribe required to get yourselves the Vileevils support slot. |

| Re: [Download] Jim Bob (Ex Carter USM) - 13th Note Cafe 20.09.06 [Download] I've tried a few things with it but the vocals are crazily loud and don't seem to enjoy being tamed. Maybe i'f i normalize it 5,000,000 times it'll sound better.
I think everything fell into place because i recorded it in an entirely different way than usual. Jim's Isle Of Man gig is being broadcast online tonight from 7pm on www.2poor2tour.com
Someone on the Carter board thinks the sound is better than Jim's dvd. Now i need to do an iDou one. |

Good night children, sleep tight."
