I’m still blown away by the recording quality on this set. Everything fell into place, for once. One question though Gill: Where’s the recording of Yer Maw’s set from the same night? Hmm?

Its recorded from the monitor mix, so the vocals are 100 times louder than everything else. Gill said he needs to do some mixing work on it but I'm not sure if that just means he's in a bad mood that the recording didn't work and he wants everyone else to forget about it.

I've tried a few things with it but the vocals are crazily loud and don't seem to enjoy being tamed. Maybe i'f i normalize it 5,000,000 times it'll sound better.

I think everything fell into place because i recorded it in an entirely different way than usual. Jim's Isle Of Man gig is being broadcast online tonight from 7pm on www.2poor2tour.com

Someone on the Carter board thinks the sound is better than Jim's dvd. Now i need to do an iDou one.
