First opening in 1986 in Aberdeen, Richard's quickly became known as the place to get tattooed amongst bikers and the alternative rock scene as well as for visiting sailors. After relocating in 1990 it's popularity continued to increase as tattoos became more acceptable to an increasing number of people, eventually leading to a complete refit in 1996.
"The shop is divided into three areas, reception and waiting area where you will be greeted and your enquiry dealt with. The tattoo benches are where Richard and Jimmy work in a relaxed atmosphere. The Piercing studio is a private area containing all the necessary equipment. All areas are kept to the highest possible hygiene standards."
