Along with Winners never quit, I would rate this as probably Pedro the Lion's best album. Just like "Winners...", it pursues a devastating narrative through 10 beautifully crafted songs, raising themes of fidelity ("Options"), infidelity ("Rapture"), trashing the capitalist dream (most of the middle section of the album), then disillusion ("Second Best"), and ultimately a tragic crime of passion ("Priests and Paramedics"). It's pretty bleak but (just like the best movies), pretty compelling as well. If you liked "Winners", you'll love "Control" - and vice versa... Upcoming Events Album Information Title: Control
