A friend unfortunately lent me his copy of this because they are on at the 2008 download festival that we are attending, believing that I would like it as I am a huge fan of both "The Clash" and "The Living End" and he fobbed me off by stating that these were like a mix of the two.
After listening to this sorry bunch, I can only assume that my friend has either never heard either of these bands or is tone deaf.
Seriously though, I cannot think of any reason to praise anything about this record, It has no originality what so ever and there is not one track that you will remember for more than five minutes, boring springs to mind.
This record would have benefited by a stronger guitar sound thus giving it a more hard edged punk feel, the instrument is so weak that you can barely hear it!
So, to sumarise: I do not recommend this album to anyone that likes the bands mentioned above or any other similar bands, and I will definitely not be catching them at the festival as I cannot actual now understand why they have been booked?
