Keep it simple..
hemmingway used to say the same about his sentences..
and like van morrison's music his stories were anything but simle, they were multi-layered and deep.
what can i say but this - van is a genius at work - or as he himself put it once in a song - his job is "turning lead into gold"- he's done it again!
