This is an album for electronica music fans who like something original and challenging. The music here is abstract and free-form, with all sorts of percussive ideas and strange sounds. Intermingled with all this come subtle melodies which bring the tunes alive at the right moments. After about 15 spins I'm still some way off fully getting familiar with the album, which is a nice feeling. Some of tracks are slightly jarring, and not ideal for mellowing out, but that all adds to the overall appeal. It's great to see artists like this sticking to their values.
