I decided to buy this album after a long period of not listening to any new music and had almost given up on hearing anything decent. NME describe it as Depeche Mode, Aphex Twin, Radiohead and Massive Attack at their darkest, but for me it has Magic Numbers harmonies blended with Grandaddy-style vocals and Knife and Lamb undertones. If you like the eclectic sounds of any of the artists mentioned here you are more than certain to find this album a suitable place in your collection.
