Check out the home tapes version. Far better. Been listening to Glasvegas since Jimmy Allen ripped Morton apart when he was still playing for Queen's Park and caught them last year at the Barfly and they sound amazing live as well.
McGhee never signed them, as far as I'm aware but is a big fan. He mentions them an awful fucking lot in interviews and the like. This time last year he put them as the band that were gonna make it big in 2007. Won a couple of NME awards recently as well.
But a fucking stoatin' band. Had everything they'd done 'til my laptop died last year and of the weeks worth of music I lost it's the only one that really bothers me
