Trash Fashion don't so much defy genre labelling as try to shove so many genres in that it's tricky to choose. Rock guitars, electro synth, stop-start indie rhythms, emo scream vocals - it all blends into a remarkably powerful pop rock rush, or maybe it's an electro-pop energy thrill, I'm not sure, maybe it's both.

Lead track from their upcoming second EP Why Can't We Be Friends? veers more towards Rock, but the powerful slamming guitar chorus sits alongside screaming electro synths while debut EP track Mom And Daddy showcases a very hardcore vocal intro combined with a dance rhythm and mockney humour theme.

On last.fm they've been tagged as "dance-punk", I guess that'll do...
